Who are we?
For the love of dogs - and everything else in between!
At Bark Right, we love dogs ( in fact between us we own Dogs, Chickens, Cats, Rabbits, Tarantulas & Fish and pigs!) so we have a genuine love for all animals, not only dogs.
We were established in Jan 2022 by Jo, who has a level 3 in dog training, A+ ADTB diploma in understanding what makes a dog tick, understanding dog behavior and holds a advanced diploma in psychology.
Alex is currently trained in Animal Psychology, Dog behaviors and training and holds a current Dog first aid accompanying his veterinary assistant qualification, has owned multiple pets throughout his life and owns a German Shorthaired Pointer called Finn and a Collie called Zoe!
Alex
I'm a passionate dog lover and trainer. I specialise in positive reinforcement training, which is a humane and effective way to teach your dog the behaviors that you desire. I'm certified in canine behavior and I've been training dogs (including my own dogs) for a little over 3 years. I'm committed to helping owners and their dogs build strong relationships and have fun together. My methods focus on building trust and respect and creating a bond between the dog and their owner. I believe that with the right guidance, every dog can become the best version of themselves.
Alex works with dogs daily of all breed types and is available for 1:1 appointments, Alex specialises in socialisation, and reactivity sessions and pack walks.
Jo
A passionate dog lover and trainer founded Bark Right in early 2022 and has extensive knowledge and experience working with dogs and specialises in reactivity and socialisation training.
Jo loves dogs and manages a Doggy Day care center in Leicestershire,
Jo loves to see dogs and owners progress through the training stages to ensure a forever strong bond.
When Jo is not working with dogs, she loves to visit dog shows and events across the country such as Crufts and Dogfest as well as runner her own dog shows!
Jo is available for 1:1 appointments.
Our Ambassador - Finn
He loves tennis balls and is undergoing training too!
Paul
Paul is our tech guy managing the website and health and safety , although he has experience with reactive dogs and is currently working on a Canine communication and pet psychology diploma.
Paul works in the pet industry.
Always on the pack walks, he is a trained mental health first aider along with being a training pet first aider.
He shares parenthood of Finn and Zoe with Alex, his partner.
For some, you may also recognise him from Poplar Paws Daycare having worked with Jo and the daycare team.
